Saddle Rock second grade classes recently held publishing parties to celebrate their "All About..." writing unit. In this multi-week unit, students learned how to break down a topic into headings and organize their writing with a table of contents, a glossary, and other nonfiction text features. They also spent time revising their work to make it stronger, and they added illustrations to their final project. Bravo!
