Four students playing a board game.

On Wednesday, February 5th, Saddle Rockers participated in Global Play Day! From Lego creations to epic games of Monopoly, from Rock Paper Scissors battles to imaginative puppet shows, all students engaged in free play with their peers. Global Play Day began in 2015 as a way to raise awareness of the critical role that play has in a child’s development. It highlights the value of unstructured play in fostering creativity, collaboration, and social-emotional growth. Saddle Rock was excited to dedicate an entire day to celebrating the joy and learning that comes from play!
